Phool Aur Kaantewas the first star hero Ajay Devgan’s entry into Bollywood. This movie did well at Box Office and gave overnight stardom to Ajay Devgan. HemaMalini‘s niece Madhoo also made her Bollywood debut with this movie.
Ajay (Ajay Devgan) is the only son of Nageshwar (Amrish Puri) who is a leader for wide underworld business. Ajay also helps to his father in all illegal activities. Ajay’s wife (Madhoo) never likes this type of activities, she want her husband to come out from this business.
One day Nageshwar asks his son to take full responsibilities. But by that time Nageshwar’s opponent Dhanraj (Raja Murad) kidnaps Ajay’s son. How Ajay and Nageshwar protected their heir and they continued in criminal activities or not is the remaining story.
Aruna Irani played another key role in this movie. Because of his styles and look, Ajay Devgan got huge following in youth he also won Filmfare award
Story revolves around two boys Rahul (Chandrachur Singh) and Balu (Arshad Warsi) whose date of birth is same. Rahul is son of multi millionaire, after losing his parents he stays with his grand parents in London. Balu belongs to a middle class family works as taxi driver.
When Rahul visits India, he takes hires Balu’s taxi for his journey. After few misunderstandings, they both becomes close. Balu goes into Rahul’s place as his guest and falls in love with Pooja (Simran). On the other hand Rahul who went to Rahul’s place falls in love with Balu’s sister Paro (Priya Gill).What are the problems they faced to win their love is the remaining story.

Aman Puri (Aftab Shivdasani) is a designer falls in love with Esha (Esha Deol). She rejects his love due to her personal problems. Later Aman meets Esha’s mother Manasvi Devi (Jaya Bachchan) and reveals about his love and his interest to marry her. On the day of Esha and Aman’s engagement Dushyant (Sanjay Kapoor) enters into the scene.
He says that, Esha is his wife and Manasvi Devi is his mother and mother-in-law for Esha. Esha says her flash back. She married Dushyant, but due to his mis behavior, she beaten him hardly. Then Manasvi Devi and Esha moved to new place and living as daughter and mother.
When Aman knows about her past, he agrees to marry her. But Dushyant tries to stop the marriage. Manasvi Devi kills Dushyant and She also dies after watching Esha and Aman’s marriage.
Ajnabee (2001) is a Bollywood movie starring Bobby Deol, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. This movie marked Bipasha Basu’s Bollywood debut. In first movie only she got chance to play dual role.
