Phool Aur Kaante was the first star hero Ajay Devgan’s entry into Bollywood. This movie did well at Box Office and gave overnight stardom to Ajay Devgan. Hema Malini‘s niece Madhoo also made her Bollywood debut with this movie.
Ajay (Ajay Devgan) is the only son of Nageshwar (Amrish Puri) who is a leader for wide underworld business. Ajay also helps to his father in all illegal activities. Ajay’s wife (Madhoo) never likes this type of activities, she want her husband to come out from this business.
One day Nageshwar asks his son to take full responsibilities. But by that time Nageshwar’s opponent Dhanraj (Raja Murad) kidnaps Ajay’s son. How Ajay and Nageshwar protected their heir and they continued in criminal activities or not is the remaining story.
Aruna Irani played another key role in this movie. Because of his styles and look, Ajay Devgan got huge following in youth he also won Filmfare award
